Machree Quaker
Managing Partner | Principal Broker
I was born and raised in Southern California. I started my career in public service and housing during my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine. As part of my anthropological degree, I lived/worked in Xicotencatl, Mexico with local families learning about their culture and building temporary housing. After returning, I volunteered on a South Central housing coalition and in a local homeless shelter.
At 22, I continued my volunteer work with high-risk youth in Hollywood helping them develop life solutions in their transition off the streets. I was then hired to work full-time educating and empowering disenfranchised youth. I taught seminars in high schools, built a network of youth outreach groups, a worldwide pen pal system, and published the Empowerment Times.
My efforts didn't go unnoticed and NYU granted me a scholarship in the Wagner School of Public Service, and I received my Master's in Urban Planning and Real Estate.
In my early 30s, I assisted high-end business and entertainment industry clients in their purchase and negotiations of real estate. After our offices in the WTC were destroyed, I shifted gears and opened a boutique real estate firm where our team combined our extensive knowledge of real estate investment, design, new construction, and renovation.
Today in addition to my passion for real estate, I'm a mom to two young girls and a multitude of rescue animals.
The Machree Group dedicates itself to real estate education and problem-solving as much as we do to helping you find the right home or investment for you and your family.
